Beika-cho Convenience Store takes the shape of a two-story Japanese street-corner building: a brightly lit konbini fills the ground floor with neatly stocked shelves, a hot-drink machine, and a soft-drink vending cooler, while a detective agency sign glows on the floor upstairs, with Japanese signage, a utility pole, and a wet-floor sign completing the streetscape. The finished piece reads as a faithful slice of a Japanese city block rather than a single shopfront.
Why this kit: a two-story build that layers a convenience store below a detective agency office above; authentic Japanese signage and streetscape props, from the utility pole to the wet-floor sign; shelving stocked with individually rendered product details true to a real konbini.
Kit includes: pre-cut wooden pieces for both floors and the street furniture, fabric swatches, miniature furniture, and finely detailed accessories including the shelf stock and signage. Built-in LED lights give the finished display a warm, atmospheric glow. Scissors and glue are required to complete the build (not included). Dimensions: 15.5 x 22.2 x 13.7 cm.
Assembly involves fitting and gluing the pre-cut wooden panels into the two-story shell, applying fabric and wallpaper details to both levels, placing the miniature shelving, furniture, and street accessories, and wiring in the included LED lighting to light the store and office windows.
